My copy of AJFA arrived today. Good stuff, forgot that Metallica used to be good - listening to the title track made me forget about their recent (read: last 22 years of) faggotry, if only for just a little while.

Good man!! It's one of the wonders of the fucking world how they went from the greatness of ...AJFA to what they became and are today. I can only imagine how it must have been to have seen them live in the late 80s and witness over time how they changed. It still fucks with my head.

On the subject of Justice though, that whole album is just brilliant. Fuck Master of Puppets, Justice is their best hands down. I can't say it enough.

Ride is a very, very, very close second for me. Actually my favourite tends to change between the two every now and then. Justice just has the best vocals, drum sound, drumming, consistently great songs throughout the album (Ride has Escape, and to a lesser extent Trapped Under Ice), and I love the progressiveness. It's just great.

Yeh Mort got 100 copies of clear, white, blue and green, 75 black and 25 splatter ones for us on UK Thrash. But i forgot to get one. Ill get a black copy.
