Nile is good. I don't listen to a ton of death metal these days, but they still sound good to me. They probably shouldn't be called brutal death metal.

I think even GoD liked Annihilation of the Wicked.

I really like Niles' music mix with ancient music and lyrics about egyptian gods. AoTW sounds like simple death metal, BSoV is my favourite though.

Yes, but they're even worse. If you want a band that has way too much unnecessary filler double-bass, you've come to the right place.

Thanks, I've just listened to "Confined" and you are right, there is too much unnecessary double-bass.

What's worse is that "Confined" is one of their better songs. It's a goddamn chore to listen to a full album.

Start with Virus and Penetralia and work your way inward. Or else buy Abducted and go backwards and forwards through their discog.
