I just got an email about it being full...anyway, King Of The Dead would probably be the best place to start, as it's their best. It's definitely heavier and gloomier than their debut, which has a lot more tendencies toward more 'rock' influenced passages.

It's melodic but not the the extent of the previous 4,5 albums. You can tell pretty early on Dismember is going to be a melodic band because David. You can tell the guy just sits around with his long hair listening to judas priest and iron maiden... except he's in a 90's death metal band!.
