Everyone listen to Runemagick - The Supreme Force of Eternity

I've been listening to it quite a bit over the last 3 months or so, and the more I listen to it, the more it's reinventing itself as one of my favourite albums. Up there with Miasma's "Changes" as a completely underrated album, it is totally crushing, yet disturbingly subtle in sound. Definitely a hit for Aeternus fans in particular I think.

Yeah this a solid album. A bit short though iirc.

Both. It was the first time I had heard them and it was just abysmal. That was just my impression.
I saw them recently before I had heard Blood Mountain and I didn't really get into the songs much. After I had given the album a listen or two I kept asking myself why I didn't love the new songs live. I'm sure they come off much better with some familiarity. Rarely if ever do I feel like checking out a band based on what I heard live. Getting the albums first is always the way to go.

I strongly recomend Satyricon -nemesis divina for anyone who has not heard it.

I'm certain that those people who haven't heard Nemesis Divina or Satyricon in general are those who in light of elitists' backlash against them, will never want to. Sure, they're not fucking Varathron, but only a handful few can compete with these Greek titans(from the bands I've heard none are better though:). What I'm trying to say is that I don't quite understand why so many people frown upon Satyricon. I don't find their music to be devoid of feeling. It's actually quite spirited. I suppose it's only due to the fact that they haven't brought anything new into BM . End of rant.

This coupled with the fact that I probably won't like there style anyway is probably the reason I hated it so much.

Agreed. Secrets of the Black Arts is not too bad, check it out.

I do not see why a black metal fan would not love it. The album is not trendy or symphonic garbage nor does not have tribute celtic frost riffs(not going to mention the band), plus it has David Parland from Necrophobic on second guitars.
