I watched a dodgy dvd of Wolverine the other day, I cant make the best judgement of it since I was watching it on a laptop instead of the big screen. But I didn't think it came close to comparing to the other X-men movies, pretty crappy overall imo. The last movie I saw in a theatre was grand torino and it was awesome, Clint Eastwood plays an awesome character for a dude his age

Serious? Man... I walked out of there with a pounding headache and shaking in anger at what they did to the franchise. Fucking TERRIBLE film IMO.

It was obviously flawed, but there were enough entertaining set pieces for me to give it a pass. The ending was a bit of a let down, and there was nothing that came close to being as great as the first three, but it was good fun. I even liked the bit with the fridge.

Shutter Island is BRILLIANT. It's the only Lehane book I've read so far.

I just finished this last night.
I started it only last week and I am not a reader at all... But I couldn't put it down. The last 100 pages were .

Didn't really see it coming although I knew a twist was definately heading my way. Can't wait to see how the movie pans out.

I am a massive fan of the Indiana Jones films, and I enjoyed the newy quite a bit.

What was the fridge scene? I don't remember it. I didn't mind the movie, but the ending was certainly shit.

He got in the lead lined fridge to escape the nuclear explosion at the start of the film.

Oh yeah of course. That part of the film was my favourite actually! Not necessarily the fridge, but I like films with ghost towns like that.

I watched BoyTown this morning, the Glenn Robbins/Mick Molloy film from a couple of years back about the boy band that makes a comeback. It was quite poor. I think Glenn Robbins is one of Australia's funniest people, so imagine my surprise when I don't laugh once at something he's in (note: I don't watch Kath & Kim). Production values were below par and it was just generally not very good.

Not sure why I watched it to be honest.

Saw Wolverine today.

Fucking awesome, although they did take some licence with the story line...stoked.

DVDs, watched Pulse 1 and 2, and white noise...watching the sequel tonight...interesting concepts.
