I saw pirates 3 last night.
Fuck it was long and oveeeeer the top!!

It was pretty cool though... I think I prefered the first 2 though.. Seemed to have more of a story whereas this one was alot of adventure scenes....

Yeah, one thing I will give against Pirates 3 is they dragged the end out just a TOUCH too long I think.

I watched An American Haunting the other night on DVD, it was suitable home entertainment with a little cheese but whats a burger without cheese? It has Donald Sutherland and Sissy Spacek freaking out in 1815, oh dear, what could the matter be?

Thank You For Smoking's a good film. That main guy in it played the part really well.

Anyone seen Beowulf? I saw and enjoyed it, but want to see it on the IMAX screen.

Spiff - do you have Children of Men on DVD? I would rent it myself, but I have about 50 DVD's in bloody shrink wrap - I'm renting nowt till they've been watched!

Planning on seeing them both this week... just a bit concerned whether or not I'll handle the camerawork in Cloverfield. For reference, the end scene in the new King Kong made me shockingly dizzy from vertigo

This review reckons the camerawork isn't that bad.

Yeah I've heard several reports about it.. everything from "you get used to it after a couple of minutes" to "I walked out as soon as the attack started"
