Ok.. I don't really want any super rare and obscure stuff. I want some prog that I could find easily in a CD store or on Amazon.com. I have some Camel CDs and stuff but thats really about it. So what should I get?
NineFeetUnderground said:well, i personally wouldnt recommend bands like flower kings, ayreon or pain of salvation right off the bat as bands to get into for this genre. Im not really a fan to begin with, nor do i think theyre very good at all, but thats probably why.
Seth'Peth said:Not a fan of Ayreon? Would've thought you'd love those albums based on reading your other likes. I'm only familiar with "The Human Equation" so far and absolutely love it. Brilliant music and lyrical writing IMO.
I've been recommending it to everyone who likes prog music(rock and metal).
