I suppose they probably didn't do as many takes in those days.

I hadn't thought of the live thing. Their shows only went for 40 minutes, and it seems like you couldn't hear them anyway because of dickhead screaming girls. I feel sorry for any bloke or more mature woman who tried to watch a Beatles show but had the sound drowned out by them.
