Fuck the world!

Readin The Republic for the third different class now. Also Uncle Tom's Cabin, random articles about religion/culture and politics, articles about literary theory, and whatever the fuck I'm supposed to have read for my Victorian Literature class...I know we just finished Jane Eyre. I think I'm supposed to read some J.S. Mill excerpts.

FUCK Jane Eyre

It's true and if you disagree you're a faggot tbh.

*is a faggot*

I mean there's some really amazing Victorian literature just as there is some amazing twentieth century lit...I just find the twentieth century lit to be more interesting and original

this could be due in large part because I'm a composition creative writing person, so I crave originality...I set high standards for my literature

I actually really enjoyed Wuthering Heights. The only thing I have read by Austen was Emma and it was absolute rubbish.

I am currently reading The Fall of Hyperion by Dan Simmons. The first book, Hyperion, was great but left a lot unexplained. Simmons better damn well tie up all the lose ends in part 2 or I'll be pissed.

I bought The House of the Dead by Dostoevsky today, along with Being and Nothingness by Sartre. I'm reading Nausea right now so they'll have to wait. I also have Demons but the edition I have is called The Devils.
