The CURRENTLY LISTENING TO thread

Currently listening to Jesse Camp and The 8th Street Kids. Man remember that guy? He was shorter lived at MTV than Yahoo Serious. Well I know at least one person bought the CD, yep I did. Man it is like Hanoi Rocks got really f@#ked up and made a bad incoherent album. But thankfully for Jesse's sake Japan is on this planet and he would get a fair chance.
One question that does come to mind while listening to this great piece of glammy sleaze goodness; I wonder if Stevie Nicks is proud of her involvement on the album.
And one last thing, I think emo kids should pay this poor guy royalties on that haircut he was sporting. Jesse was sporting the du that every emo kid and has been hair rocker would have in years to follow this unfortunate happening the was Jesse Camp.

This....

Thank you Lee for bringing this gem back to life. And, thank you Ken @ Laser's Edge for bringing it to the U.S.

Pellaz and Modernwizardry... I think this could be something for you. A perfect mix of Hawkwind, Tull, The Gods, Gravy Train and early Heep. 1970's Brittish psych / hard rock at its best.

Noted, thanks!

Claus - What band is that? Are they called "TEN"?
Never heard of em, but that cover is killer.

Yes, they are called TEN. This is their 9th album actually... Sounds like a mixture of Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy, Gary Moore, Deep Purple ... with a bit of pomp.

Here's one of their best songs ever:

Gary Hughes and Vinny Burnes - Great band. I actually think Mark Zonder is playing drums on the new one... And I think Vinny Burnes is replaced. Kinda reminds me a little of late eighties Magnum (without Catley of course)...

Today's selection:

Nocturnal Rites - Shadowland
Nocturnal Rites - New World Messiah
Nocturnal Rites - Grand Illusion
Nocturnal Rites - The 8th Sin
November’s Doom - To Welcome The Fade

I like all those bands, outside of Whitesnake/never heard Gary Moore. It could be something I would like if they got a different vocalist. That was the weak point for me.
