The DaVinci Code is the literary version of the music of Usher. Fun and well written, but ultimately pointless and uninspiring.

See, I felt insulted when I read the book, but only because I read Angels and Demons first. Still, you'd figure a books sequel would be um... different. But no, not in this case. They really are the same damn book. Professor meets girl with murdered father. They go on wild goose chase while being pursued by a cryptic psychotic killer. They unveil horrible christian conspiracy, then don't have sex, and the book ends.

I swear to god I read through both of those books just *waiting* for the main characters to fuck each other. Complete disappointment.

I had a really fun dinner today with a good friend... actually my Ex.
he reminded me of a book we both read.... Holy Blood Holt Grail a book that came out at the late 70's and was the book behind Dan Brown's hit seller....
I can't believe I somewhat forgot about Holy Blood Holy Grail... I read it such a long time ago... this is what you need to check out Ellis....
I'm going to order this book...I need to read it again...

The theories about Jesus having a blood line are not new... Dan Brown didn't wrte anything new.. but he wrote a fun book to read.
