Then they passed me by (i was going relatively slow and so far they were stuck behind me), made a turn and then stopped, so:
a) either they got pissed off
b) or they got embarrassed
c) or they were so utterly stupid that they thought i would follow.

d) or there was another car.

seriously, having worked in the field for some time, i can tell you that if they knew what they were doing, they would never have used just one car to follow someone in an urban area. it's just not possible, unless it's 3am or something. and of course if they knew you spotted one car, that's more reason for that car to leave and for the other to start its job.

i don't know what kind of situation you're talking about, and it's highly likely that they're two idiots who couldn't tell a road map from their ass. still, please consider for your own safety that if they weren't amateurs, they did not make a mistake even if you thought they did.

@rahvin: thanks for the warning, i really appreciate it.
i try not to get paranoid and i like to believe they were two idiots who couldn't tell their head from a road map in their ass.
the situation was like this: they enter a cafeteria where me and my (extremely good looking) friend are having our coffee, they look at us a lot, try to break smiles but they get ignored. they must have done a fair amount of eavesdropping too, as they took the table next to ours. when we leave the cafeteria they leave too, and that's when they start following us. i knew they would follow us ever since i saw them leaving and getting in their car. and the stalking was too obvious since they were stuck on my tail.
i really hope they were simply stupid and not just too smart. :p

@siren: well, yeah, since they didn't try to be inconspicuous in the first place (at the bar) it's probably safe to conclude they didn't plan any of that beforehand. i still find it tragic that someone would, at the same time, be willing to follow people around and be so blatantly uncapable of figuring out the basics of it, yet i guess it's for the better: we don't really want stalkers to be college graduates after all.

@rahvin: yeap. it's still pretty freaky, my friend almost had a heart attack upon seeing a car of the same brand and colour outside our school today. i'm in a mood for total war. ;)

@siren: these people sometimes are just out to kill time, rather than you and your friends. do not panic until you see them again. if you do, call the cops.

nf: amazed. really. there's someone out there who is a tough nut to crack but appears to strongly believe in me.

NF: still fine even I'm scared of today .... I'm having lessons from 7:30am to 5:30pm ... I think if I don't go crazy from my students today, we're going to see us later here again ;)

I gotta go now ...

Was it this? Well, you really are confused. You didnt post anything what I wrote, if by that you dont mean your vague notion of "nice interference".

I am not talking about social market economy, I dont want state to interfere at all, when economic desicions are concerned. All I want from the state is just laws and just executive power. I dont think they nicely interfere with each other, state is the worst manager/householder imo. What I would like the state to be is just parliament, government, judiciary and police.

well, government in some way does act. There is hardly a way that the state would just lay out a neutral background for the market forces to act, because that meant no protection of its citizens at all, or any thoughts about the future. But I´m sure you don´t want customer rights/protection for example, and happily live with having biotechnologially modified plants messing with nature. Also for example the way a country´s health system is set up requires decisions which can´t be neutral.

NF : Intense stress. That's for the whole next week. My play is next friday and saturday (17th and 18th) and I can't wait anymore. I feel like I just had 12 coffees.

today the stockmarket is my friend, so i'm doing quite alright.

also, i'm getting evaluated tomorrow at work. hear me roar.

uh, and as per usual i wish i had a weapon.

Rampage: It'll go great for you, you'll see. :)

Claudia: Good to know. I hope it continues to be your friend (or i'll seriously overthrow capitalism and begin a neosocialist rule which will slowly but unstoppably take over the world).

Hey, there's nothing wrong (quite on the contrary, i would say) with biologically/genetically engineered/modified plants!

Deal. I think we've just effectively threatened the market into submission. :D
