Right o so out of boredom I decided to make some clips.

Here is my original (an actual mesa DR and 5150 v30 cab setup)

Here is a redo with Ampkit (on an iphone 4, I figured out how to get rid of that shitty noise that I had the first time by getting rid of one AD stage):

I am using tse tube screamer,lextac for the high gain amp,Kefir with guitar hacks impulses and lot of time on eqing....yea and i used some compression on the guitars before passing it to amp..:):).

First post guys. I found this thread a while back and have used the DI tracks a lot, but I realized it was kind of rude not to post my results in this thread.

Here's my latest with my Mark IV and Whitebox 2x12 using a faux reamping rig. (Interface output > Pod HD500 > Mark IV input > Mic'd with SM58 > back into interface > play DI track and record at the same time)

NOTE: I wasn't able to monitor at all, so I just stuck the mic where the cone meets the cap almost touching the grill and went at it. I'm sure I could come up with some better results if I had the correct reamping gear.

They're all pretty bad because I pretty much just selected each amp, used their respective cab sim, made some minor adjustements and then reamped. The HD500 can sound much better than this.
 
Here's my donation - All guitars are as follows..

TSE 808 > TSE X50 > ASEM RECTO V30 for left and s-preshigh for right. @ tracks 100%L/R, 2 tracks 65% L/R and down about 2db.

Mstaring chain is just some crappy free stuff, Blockfish compressor and T-Sledge limiter. Small Compression on backing track.
