the election, and stuff..

spawn... yes, I don't condone the manner in which it's done but I will vote for them BECAUSE the other choice is a group of people who claim to be nice guys and did far worse (same names, same party) AND they are accepting Socialist preferences to boot.

There are only 2 choices... whoever you vote for, it'll end up going to Labor or Liberal so I think my reasons are clear enough.

Regardless of how Koich meant it, it was said... I'm just pointing out that if the word 'Croatians' was changed to 'Muslims', there would be an outcry like I copped for mentioning 'Vietnamese' and not even mentioning 'Indonesian'.

A lesser of 2 evils then... Fair enough. Thats probably how most people see it when they vote actually!

Righty-o. I'm happy with that answer. I'm dropping this particular issue now. Unless something else interesting comes up in it, that is :)

And Koich says a lot of things that should cause an outcry. We've learnt to pretty much ignore him most of the time :)

They don't play cricket in Croatia (just invented there)
Being a massive cricket nut, I could have sworn that the ancient form of the game was invented by Scottish sheep-herders and then made "proper" by the Marelybone Cricket Club (now known as the MCC) in the mid 1850's.

Yup, no storms of nuffink like that until Tesla (born in Croatia to Serbian parents, partially educated in Austria and who did a lot of his work in the US) invented electricity.

Just don't tell Ben Franklin or Thomas Edison or any of those guys, OK?

Don't forget Vegeta as well

Tesla's main claim to fame lay with his invention of the alternating current motor. Tesla believed that alternating current was vastly superior to (Edison's) direct current, but the problem was the lack of a practical motor. Alternating current is practical because of the fact that it can be altered or converted to suit a variety of situations. For example, if the voltage is made quite high, then the current necessary for a specific level of power is very low. This low current then becomes very efficient when sending electrical power over very long wires. (This is the reason why the power lines running across the countryside are at very high voltages.)

Tesla also worked with radio-frequency electromagnetic waves, and despite the claims made by Marconi, actually did invent the idea of Radio as we know it today. (There are numerous patents which bear this out.) In working with radio waves, Tesla created the Tesla coil as a means to generate and receive this form of energy.
