The forum members you haven't met - but would like to

I wouldn't mind meeting some of you, or even all of you but I'm too lazy to do anything about it. However, if some kind of an organized meeting is going to take place I think I'd try to attend it.

I almost had a chance to go to Göteborg this summer.. But I missed it, cos my parents kidnapped me to Sardegna/Sardinia :mad:

(See, I have friends in the Esperanto-world ;) (haha!) and the big meeting was in Sweden this year.. And in Göteborg even.. AND I $#%^@%# MISSED IT!)

But.. But..
I told everyone.. I asked for escape plans, anything, I hated it, I didnt want to go, and my expectations met. It was dreadful. The island is just nice, but people >_< I was bored to death. AND I managed to forget Projector and Haven.. FOR THREE WEEKS! ...*frustrated* I did have good books with me though..
 
@wazoo: sorry i didn't notice your pleas for help. :cry: escaping from that island is not easy... you should have suggested letting you get to the mainland for a day, then disappearing and never coming back would have been easier. ;) did you fly directly to cagliari's airport or was a boat-trip involved at some point?

Ah well, I'm back now. :) And that was the last holiday with my parents..for a long time, prolly. So. Good. :D Too bad about the missed chance..

But that isn't necessarily hypocritical. They might want to meet those people just to prove themselves, how right/wrong they were in their namecalling. Or simply to kick their asses. Or just because of the typical paradoxal desires of the human animal: I for one tend to like the people I hate the most.

oh, definitely. i myself, with my comment about wanting to meet everybody, wasn't implying that i like everybody. and i'm surely interested in meeting those i (for lack of a better word) hate.
i was referring to some who seemed to put all those they have listed in the same category, filing them under the "it would be so good to spend some time with you" directory regardless of how profusely they've been badmouthing them in the past.
 
I actually have the address and phone number of someone I hate from another forum :) Next time I'm near where he lives I'lll do someting evil :)
 
I'm going to see Sevendust at Toad's Place in New Haven this weekend, but I doubt anyone in this forum likes them. Just letting the CT people know in case I can potentially meet people there.

I have/can find the addresses/phones of a few forum members (from elsewhere). One of them is a person I had problems with in the far past... I'll let bygones be bygones and won't send them a package of anthrax. :)

For member meetings, I'd love to and am possibly going to visit Sweden someday... ;) but, alas, not someday soon. :cry:
