Well, it might not be true, but its what I'm seeing in school right now.
I'm also talking about Mac books lol, everyone in their freshman and sophomore years in my school has one because our school decided to turn "technological.' But they do seem pretty convenient for stuff like word documents and mathematical graphing and stuff.

each to his own... my brother does master in computer science, and he uses Linux. He uses command lines to play/pause/stop a movie. He likes that way, period. Same goes for mac/pc, first know what you'll be doing/like, then choose the OS.
