I used to think Redemption was good, but then I realized they weren't.

Self titled is good. Fullness of Time is horrible.

It doesn't get any worse than Sapphire. Slap the emo sticker on that one.

Umm.... I've seen 'March of Mephisto' by Kamelot on youtube which tickled my gonads somewhat. Anyone recommend which album I should get to start with please?

that's off The Black Halo. which is a great album, except if you want to follow the story, you'd better listen to Epica first.

Umm.... I've seen 'March of Mephisto' by Kamelot on youtube which tickled my gonads somewhat. Anyone recommend which album I should get to start with please?

Try Karma, Epica, or Fourth Legacy. Kamelot are an amazing band. Gonna finally get to see them live September 7.

Speaking of Burn The Sun, my copy of the Japanese edition arrived this day. If we're going back to 2001, then Andromeda - Extension of the Wish is also valid. Burn the Sun is a flawless album.

You all better check out the new Circus Maximus cd.

Self titled is good. Fullness of Time is horrible.

The s/t sucks ferociously. The original vocalist stunk it up bad. Only thing worthy of note is that Alder sang on some of it. Of course his vocals helps pull them out of mediocrity on Fullness of Time.

owned... Adagio is alright, I dunno why everyone goes crazy over them...they're perhaps the most repetative band i've ever listened to! Yet they're musicianship is grade A

I think the way they replied to eachother is enough to disregard both there opinions for eons, but thats just me....and I like Dan Swano so I suppose I should disregard my own opinions for eons!

Swanö has contributed an unspeakable amount more to the genres of death and prog metal than Ascension ever has.
