Yeah! I agree. I was hoping someone would ask Mikael that in an interview. Maybe someone did?

I agree. It's nice. I especially like the sitar sounding notes that are faded in/accentuated right before the opening notes.

But i just think it fits perfectly with there whole set, especially when they open with ''Masters Apprentice'' the intro music slowly fades out then it goes all quiet & then BANG! straight into that fucking evil riff.

as far as i remember when i saw the deliverance tour and they opened with lepar affinity thier intro was that build up of noise that features at the start of bwp. can't be sure though, can't really remember hearing the intro music used on the dvd gig.

I agree about Godhead's being the perfect fit for the intro. I got a whole concert in video of them using that intro and starting with Godhead's Lament. It almost sounds like it was originally part of the song.Fade to Black said:

Wow, ''Bleak & ''Credence'' would have been awesome live. Especially the clean vocal parts in ''Bleak''.
