he had a shitty lineup behind him last year, it's not like pitchers were forced to pitch to him every at bat, and he still put up monster #'s
he should put up even better #'s this year with Dlee and Aramis Ramirez behind him

Heh, I was kidding about the pickoff attempt. Anyway, he had a pretty good lineup behind him when he was with the Yankees and the Rangers. Didn't seem to stop him from swinging at everything thrown in his general direction.
I'm just busting balls, though. Sori is a great player. He, Lilly and Pinnella will make the Cubs a lot better this season. They might not be contending for the WS, but they'll certainly be better than last year.
I watched that Cubs - Mets game last season where the Mutts hit two grand slams in one inning. Ouch.

I hate the Cubs because they are always so awful. I loath awful teams especially when they have a decent payroll.
