Hidey-ho, there is some truly amazing stuff going on here . . . just wondering if I could get some comments on this piece for an album cover for New Zealand band Dawn of Azazel - it's fully not finished yet, but comments would be greatly appreciated... also it's my second piece ever, so if you think it stinks, I guess you know why...

hey blood..Nice stuff u got there...i love the colors and the tormented feel of it....the only thing that bothers me is the blurred ammo in the up corner & maybee i would try to place the logo differently..but nice stuff anyway.

Thanks for the comments!! - the ammo in the corner is not final at all and the logo was just slapped on last minute to see what it would look like. As for images, it's all scanned and textures I conjured up myself

nice cover i already noticed it before...my pesonnal problem here is that i don't guess wich part is the band's name and wich is the album's title...
here's the design i did for a rock band and its been released today
seems i quiet fucked up the images compression but well.

Well....maybee give it another tint. what i think is that the bands name should jump first at your face before seing the album title.
but in this case the bands name is a bit special (this present darkness??) and the fact that you only used a simple font for it doesn't stand it as a logo. use only capital for it to try...
hey i rally liked the thorn torn bliss cover..whats it the font used for the back??

Thanx for the compliment for the Narsilion cover. I will try a few things to spice up the lettering if the other cover. About what font that is, it is Fountain Pen Frenzy, I got it at www.dafonts.com.
