<crimson> said:ever since i heard that Enemies of Reality was being remixed and produced by another producer, just 2 short years after it's release, i was intrigued. usually bands that do this, do it many years down the line. I've personally never even heard the record, i just think it's odd, i mean..didn't the band hear the way it would sound, before they shipped it out? haha.
obviously, it could have sounded good to the band at the time, but, production is hit or miss (good or shit); and that's usually pretty set on the first listen.
i read up about it on blabbermouth in some old articles, and people were saying it was muddy and just sounded shitty compared to their previous release (i believe). \
anyone know the deal?
Dreadful said:sure...but of course it was a coincidence...can't imagine jeff loomis taking time out to listen to primordial.
Dreadful said:maybe he's an avid fan...I highly doubt it...I mean, primordial?! PRIMORDIAL?!
Kir-ir-Bannog said:The first production was really shitty. I could still appreciate it (i could tell musically, they were doing themselves justice), but knew it could've been a whole lot better in terms of sound quality. Indeed, their previous release was awesome in terms of sound quality and again, was produced by sneap (who has re-mixed EOR) The new one (EOR) apparently sounds FAR better, due to sneaps efforts.

Devy_Metal said:Wow, youre a dumb bitch huh? Nevermore is the single most talented metal band in today's scene. Jeff Loomis destroys his peers. Mikael is a huge Loomis fan, as everyone should be. I would suggest you give them another try as youre missing out on the best metal act of the past ten years.
