It'll probably be better than Enemies of Reality and Dead Heart in a Dead World, not so sure if it'll be as good as Dreaming Neon Black.

All I asked was for this person to please explain why he/she doesn't like Nevermore while being as specific as possible, which is of course, the most important element of a debate. I simply asked for examples of songs he/she might have heard, or riffs, or whatever that he/she liked. If you go back and read you'll see that I wrote the majority of my posts *after* this person made asinine comments. Eg - "Loomis is a cock," "there's no such thing as emotional guitar solos" etc.

I just snagged the album and it's fantastic! The Psalm of Lydia has some awesome riffage indeed. But whatever cuntweed ripped it decided to slap a little recording saying "THE NEW NEVERMORE ALBUM OUT SOON ON CENTURY MEDIA!!!!@!@!@" on it every couple minutes and it's really pissing me off.
If anyone can remedy this situation for me, my crotch would grow increasingly moist for you.

Ya, I was listening to Nevermore, and Born has one fucking great chorus. It gives me goosebumps. Not to mention that THAT chorus has one of the most amazing riffs I've ever heard. I've never heard such talented AND perfect sounding guitar playing in my life. Very beautiful notes.

Yeah the chorus in Born just hit me today. That's some really good songwriting. I've always been at a loss as to why there isn't bands who do that sort of thing, make it their staplemark and hence their style and do more of it.

While I certainly feel the skill dripping from the album, I really dont like Nevermore in the sense of an overall package (sorry for the commodity term, you know what i mean).
Sad really, considering Loomis has some amazing riffs, as well as very nice melodic runs.
The vocals/lyrics are the final blow, take "Born" for example: Can we PLEASE stop with the cliche anti-authority messages in metal? Yeah, its called Black Sabbath and they did it 40 years ago. It was just as ridiculous and naive then as it is now. There are so many themes in life, a little variety would be nice.
