The Official Band/Project/Whatever (yours or anyones) Promotion Thread

...I need an opinion. To those familiar with the song, should I compose my own solo for the first solo, or do the original? I did a one take experimentation with scales, just to see how it would sound. Here it is>>>

It is not a complete idea by any stretch, just some ideas...

Here is the song in its entirety. Soon we will have all the bandmembers together, but I am really proud of Isaac (drummer) and I. It is a really challenging song!

Well I thought I may aswell promote my Progressive Power metal band/Project Gate XIII. There are quite a few song demos done at the minute, but unfortunately no permanent singer is stopping them from getting finished.

So check it out and let me know what you think.
www.myspace.com/gatexiiimusic

The tracks are a variety of styles, with power metal tracks, ballads and the 12 minute prog track "The Journey far beyond"

Show the other night with our new line-up. This was our second show with this line-up, first time we played Symphony

(had to merge two separate videos)

edit: it'd kinda be sweet if the board didn't automatically embed youtube vids. Makes posts like this pretty annoying

doing a cover of candlelight fantasia and Inferno, anyone wish to attempt guitars? ill send you the track i have to you can record guitar then send it back and i will do the mixing (not sure on a few of the keyboard parts, im using a VST guitar but its just not the same) then send you the finished project and you can do what you wish, i will also put it up on my Soundclick.

also if anyone wishes to do vocals i will do the same.

PS: also if anyone has a Line 6 i know my friend found a rhythm tone very similar ot that album at www.customtone.com, i would love it if you tried it out with these songs for a more symphony x sound. but your own custom sound is still great considering this is a cover not a recreation :p
