That's overgeneralizing it tbh. Sci-Fi and Fantasy are different subgenres of fiction. Though Sci-Fi is "fantastical" it is not to be considered "fantasy" due to the apparent (and glaringly obvious) stylistic differences between the two styles.

I'm absolutely positive there's a metal analogy one could make here...
