The Official Star Wars Thread

Probably not more powerful, but we're not talking Force Vs. Everything else. We're talking Empire Vs. Borg. Darth Vader and the Emperor would put up one helluva fight, and lose.

You are aware that Vader and Sidious weren't the only siths in the empire, right? They had hundreds of them. Also, the Empire has unlimited resources as they control the galaxy.

It doesn't matter what the Borg use, if you remember right any kind of weapons they use on foot can not affect Vader or Palpatine.
Do you remember on Cloud City when Han Solo shot lasers at Vader and he just blocked them like nothing? If he can do that, imagine what Palpatine could do at his full power. Eventually they would win on foot with their force powers, you can't adjust to the Force.

Actually, no...
The other Siths show up in the post-movie novels.

Also, The Borg aren't completely impervious to any flippin' attack. They still have their armies. If the Borg are so bad ass, why does Lenard Nemoy stand a chance?

Ok I'm a total Star Trek noob but can't just death star destroy some of borgs home worlds, that would wipe away a few billions at a time? (Keep in mind I have no fucking idea how the borgs live or anything so this may be totally wrong. :p ).

Wrong series. Borg was Patrick Stewart.

The Empire's armies would be taken out through a war of attrition that the Borg would win due to adaptation. The Death Star would be destroyed by the Borg. The Emperor and Darth Vader can't be killed by the Borg.

I don't think we can come to a conclusion here.

Actually, Vader blocked those because his arms are made of blasteel or whatever the fuck they call it. Palpatine can't just deflect bullets.

The Borg do not use lasers. They drain your ship of energy then swarm and assimilate you. Every battle the Empire lost would make the Borg stronger. They cannot be stopped. Resistance is futile. The only reason they don't destroy the entire alpha quadrant in Star Trek is that they are not used to their full potential by the writers. Every time the Borg attack they use one cube and rape entire fleets before being destroyed by some last-minute ingenious strategy. If they just sent in like 10 cubes or just tried again after they failed the first time no one would stand a chance.

Couldn't such a master of the dark side as himself theoretically push the lasers away with the force? I know rockets could be force pushed back to the shooter in the last two Jedi Knight games.

If they attacked in the masses that they have in Star Trek Voyager then this would be no contest. The humans in TNG got lucky, basically. Didn't Q help them a couple of times?

Q introduced them to the Borg and then took them away. It's all Q's fault that the Borg came from the Delta quadrant to attack the Federation. When Voyager is in the Delta Quadrant they see shitloads of Borg cubes so it's not like they don't have the resources to invade en masse.
