Actually, it's not overpriced. The list price doesn't even cover the hardware. Only the processor costs about 250 usd, if I'm not mistaken.

My advice is choose the guy who you know is the nicest and makes you feel good (although make sure you've known him a while, guys can seems really nice for the first 6 months then after that their true side begins to show )
