About the same here temperature wise. GA/TN (I live right on the border of the two states) never had a proper winter. Everything looks fucking gross. It was great to see the sun again.

They used to play Christian themed death/thrash metal until the 2000s where they turned into a Metalcore band. Their first album sounds like Slayer.

No we do! But the rainy seasons are reaaaally long. The sunny days are fucking beautiful. We live in a giant bowl so seeing all the mountains and forestry is beautiful.
When it rains it fogs up a lot. Makes it look sorta mystical too.

Not bad, not really my kind of thing though. I start to lose interest when the metalcore is way too divorced from the core. But this has some decent Earth Crisis-esque riffing.

Living Sacrifice has good albums, but a ton of crap ones too. Probably one the most consistently good Christian Metal bands though.
