The Tuborg Sessions Expectations...

Linkin Park is terrible. RTR is fairly good, better than Colony but not as good as Clayman, which was a lot better.

Shit. Clayman was barely passable. Colony rocked.. as did everything before it.

Well... i couldn't care less...
I liked R2R a lot.. and i really don't care if a band becomes famous, or if its a sell out, as long as i like the music... In Flames rules, no matter how "sell outs" they are.
Same way i feel

Well i like all of In Flames' music...sue me...

And like has been said before, comparing Linkin Park to In Flames is completely ridiculous. In Flames is so much better than those talentless idiots it isn't even measurable.

Uh... no.

'Watch Them Feed' seemed to be going in the right direction musically. However, I still cannot stand Anders vocal style. The clean vocals were bearable on Clayman, but were absolutely ridiculous on RTR. Anders, at times sounded like a mix between Jon Davis and Marilyn Manson. There's probably some other terrible vocalists that he sounded like as well. Cut the shit and go back to your old vocal style.

On the up-side, I've got new Dimension Zero to look forward to! :)

Hell yeah!! I'm really looking forward to that one.

On a separate note, a lot of people really cut down the R2R production. But for some reason I really like it. It's not the same as the previous albums, but it's definitely appealing to me.

Couldn't agree more. I think Anders's clean vocals on Ordinary Story and Clayman were great but they suck ass on R2R. Although I like half of R2R, it's the only In Flames album that has tracks that I just don't like at all. Hopefully Anders got his soft vocal style out with R2R and Passenger and decided to get brutal again with TTS.

I am looking forward also for the new DZ album...but I have the feeling that IF will make another album like RTR because they found a new sound like soilwork did with NBC and FNF.

oh god dude, metallica's st. anger makes the black album/ load and reload look like the jester race. st. anger just sucks THAT MUCH!

I was listening to TJR the other day and thought damn, what the hell happened to Anders' vocals now. I don't know whether Anders just can't do those kinda vocals anymore or he truly thinks the clean are better. That's what I wanna know.

dont know what the fuck he's on, clayman and colony both kick r2r's ass,
at least they've got tallented aspects to them, unlike r2r

Well even though ANders screaming was much better back then i really don't care about this new album him sticking with his current stuff just get some help from a vocal coach some more and also to put the leads more up front on R2R they felt buried

Well I think his singing on say the chorus on dark signs is good it is sort of that harsh yet melodic screaming that i think he does the best

the other more shaky sort of whiny singing isn't sounding good. he should drop it but wont. i do an impersonation of what i am talking about if you IM on sepulturafan1 ill show you

They were really in their element with Colony. I'd actually consider giving up a limb, or at least a finger or toe for them to go back to that style.

Personally, if I were in a band, I wouldnt get all pissy with fans when they use the words "go back." I mean think about it. The fans made you successful. They like your band so they buy the albums because they enjoy the music. If they have input I wouldnt necessarily rule it out and say "well, we will never work backwords." If fans like a certain style so much ( In this case TJR-Clayman) then I wouldnt do a 180 and rid the music of the guitars, the thing that In Flames fans love more than anything, and switch the melody to the vocals. It's kind of disrespectful in my opinion, but whatever.
