AMURIKA is worst in my eyes, probably because that's where i live. that's the thing though...i don't believe that's human nature. human nature is suppressed in these days by smokescreens of materialism, money, and all the other set-up distractions in the middle classes of the world. true human nature is a lot different than we are "taught" it is, imo

Actually, I think most people in my community are great. I like partaking in and interacting with my society, and I have never had a need to feel 'special'. That's not to say that I don't question the conventions of bourgeois life sometimes, but what's a realistic good alternative today? Join al-Qaeda?

Part of being happy enough not to want to kill yourself is learning to play within the limits of "the game." You don't have to like it all, and a healthy person will question some/a lot of things about it, but being able to function within your own society is pretty useful.
