Oh God. For the past two days, I've been experiencing severe headaches. I'm taking painkillers and the shit is not effecting. I don't feel like doing anything. Sleeping makes it even worse. Tomorrow, i'm gonna see my doctor, i'm sure he's going to request a CT scan. I hope it's not sinusitis all over again.

Actually, I think most people in my community are great. I like partaking in and interacting with my society, and I have never had a need to feel 'special'. That's not to say that I don't question the conventions of bourgeois life sometimes, but what's a realistic good alternative today? Join al-Qaeda?

zing. well i guess the whole point of the question is to assume there were literally no witnesses to the tree falling.
but to whine and bitch, i couldnt get the fuck to sleep until 6 in the morning. and it was a shitty fucking sleep. tossed and turned until about 1:30 p.m. (right now)

If a tree falls with no living life around, I think the sound waves would go out but they would not be received/interpreted by anything

Part of being happy enough not to want to kill yourself is learning to play within the limits of "the game." You don't have to like it all, and a healthy person will question some/a lot of things about it, but being able to function within your own society is pretty useful.

Your answer is the obvious answer but the question is more philosophical and depends on the answerer's interpretation of what a "perception of sound" phenomenon even consists of.

Perception of sound means that there is an organism there to receive and interpret the sound wave, pretty simple. The only question is whether you consider sound to be sound waves, or sound to be the percieved experience of sound waves.

It's not that simple; many people don't consider animals to be able to "perceive" sounds in the same way that humans do. Sound is a physical phenomenon that is both simultaneously; the waves that carry the sound and the experience of receiving the waves with your ears and processing them with your brain.

Ugh, there was some mixup with Septic Flesh's guestlist and I (and 4 others) ended up not being on it, plus the show was sold it too. Didn't have the tour manager's # or anything I even had the email printed out, but the guy running the guestlist didn't seem to care.
