The Whining and Bitching Thread

Its always worth noting being under the influence of a substance isn't always the best thing in the world, no matter how alluring the thought of 'getting high' can be.

One night drunk I attempted to cut a skin tag off my neck with one of these and slashed a two inch cut into my neck. Woke up with the collar of my shirt and a pillow soaked in blood and my wife trying to take me to the emergency room thinking I tried to kill myself. That happened WHEN I had my wife babysitting me. Don't make your parents find you dead with a can of aerosol in your hand or hanging from your closet naked or some shit.

I'm really fucking over these 60 hour work weeks. Granted it's better than last year when I had 80 hour work weeks (every week. For two years), but fuck, I wish I could bring myself to quit the night job.

Thing is I like the security. I'll never get fired, and I basically get paid to jam out with a mop for four hours a night. If I went home at 6 I'd just be dicking around the house doing nothing relevant, at least I'm making money.

Still sucks when you've had a long day of math and bullshit to drive to another fucking job in a hot ass factory when you really don't even need the money.

Meh.

My students were off their damn rockers today. The readjustment from the break and getting back to the routine is difficult for them, and they pretty much drove me a little crazy. Also, my prep was taken away because I had to cover a math class (i dont even teach that shit or those students). So we did some worksheet the teacher left; and I doubled checked to make sure the answers/method I was using with them were correct, and they were (thankfully). Than I had an informal observation today. Just a real shit say.

Also, I slept a total of one hour because theres a damn whole in my room and mice were playing tic-tac-toe all damn night, so I was too paranoid to sleep because I didn't want to wake up with that shit on my bed.

Edit: I'm not done complaining.

My old-school aunt told me to put peppermint oil on cotton balls all around the room. So I just spent an hour cleaning and drenching my room in peppermint oil. I gotta get the molding fixed.

Edit: FUCK THIS IM NOT DONE COMPLAINING

That is a neat idea though. Since we got the lizard a few crickets have been making themselves at home, maybe it would help.

So i finally went to the doctor today and well... I've got pneumonia. Ive had a fever for 5 straight days. I've violently swung from freezing cold to burning hot to the point I pretty much have to strip down to my boxers. Cant sleep.... Having trouble breathing when laying down. Chest is congested and I'm coughing up yellow/brown blobs of shit that smell like death. I really need to get back to work Wednesday, was hoping for tomorrow but I just dont see it happening as I'm winded walking up my steps.

So yeah, fuck me.

Concern appreciated guys but other than being a few pounds overweight I'm fairly healthy, so I should be alright. Never have I so much as smoked a cigarette either, so my lungs should be fairly clean. Just have to weather the storm.

Also make sure you take all your meds. If you miss even one there's an increased chance it'll come back and be resistant to antibiotics. It happened to me and I ended up with super-pneumonia for like 5 months.

Windows 10 received an update last night and now everything is fucked up. First of all, the start button no longer responds to left-clicking, nor to the start button. Right-clicking on it will bring up a menu, but it doesn't look nice like what the earlier start menu. Secondly, it doesn't display my open apps on the bottom taskbar; instead, they are consolidated into a single task view icon which opens up thumbnails of my open windows when I click on it. That's more work than just clicking on the icon on the taskbar to view the corresponding window. Also, the date and time is not visible on the right hand corner anymore. I can hover my cursor over that area and a text box will appear showing that info, but again, that's more work. I trying to figure out if there's a way I can reverse these unwanted changes.
