That doesn't bother me at all. Sounds pretty neat. I mean, I grew up on the NES myself, after all. I'm just sick of this endless parade of 19 year old boys with cutesy anime girl avatars listening to whatever /mu/ deems cool and edgy, it's such a fucking cliché.

I'm not too sure what /mu is, but I get what you're talking about, it's pretty sad. Just defending VGM, which has been my thing for quite some time now.

I actually talked about ninja-hugging Matt once last MDF when Zeph, me and some other guys had spotted him in front of us in the crowd. Zeph actually offered to give me five dollars if I did it, but sadly I was too chicken. I definitely should have taken him up. We would likely have had video of it too.
