To be fair, "prove me wrong" is not even an argument and is completely intellectually dishonest in most circumstances. Namely in circumstances in which the person in question is trying to demonstrate a positive claim. The atheist is in a better position to say "prove me wrong" than the theist. I say there is no god. Prove me wrong. Show me god.

Which is easy for any atheist. It's much harder to say prove there's no god. I hate 'prove me wrong'. None of them have solid fact either way, so it's silly to 'argue'. I don't mind an open minded conversation or slight debate, but to argue is pointless.

The problem is that ALL theistic beliefs are a matter of sheer faith. This sounds silly to some, but that's it. The need for fact is absent and replaced by believing in something that seems irrational. No one gets to heaven through fact...but rather by believing the Bible is the word of gOD and that gOD is gOD in his gODyness.

i've been fortunate enough to not have encountered people who argue with my about that, with the exception of my cousin who was convinced that i may have been visited by the devil of some shit. his pops was a priest and wanted to have me baptized, go to church, you know the whole nine yards. i stopped talking to them after that, it really bugged me.

I hate it when you install a game, then you have to wait for a shitload of updates.

you know, that is my only complaint about the ps3. especially when your finally going to play a game thats been out for sometime, you get all excited after the installation is complete, then you get that message, "new updates for this program have been found and must be installed to continue", you try to get around it, but for the most part its impossible.
