im not a damn patriot! i actually love the idea of a society without money where we literally share everything, but when communism was actually applied to a country, it didnt turn out that way. It came out as one large class, which i suppose is easier to exploit. I think when you can get anything for free (sharing) you could take advantage of it and not do any work for anything. You would eventually have everyone stop working because there would be no need to.

Right dude, if you've read my previous posts, you'd see that I agree that the ideology of communism was lost on Stalin, who made Russia real powerful, but sacrificed true communism to do so. Now, if such a thing as true (libertarian) communism existed, there'd be no government at all, and people would be equal and happy and groovy and hugging rainbows and shit, and it'd certainly be a lot better than capitalism. I guess libertarian communism can exist but it's damn near impossible for a government to give up the power and control it has over a nation.

Yea, I don't think there is anyway of completely switching from a normal government. Thinking about it, I think communism is really holding back civilization. The reason why we are not living on the moon and driving flying cars is because they dont want to waste the money engineering a flying car, when all they have to do is make the car look a little different, and the masses will buy it.

Well switching from a normal government, can be achieved, firstly with a revolution, then a strong government which will get weaker and weaker until a state of anarchy is established. That's all theoretical though, and it'll take a higher level of thinking and a better uderstanding of the benefits of communism in order for the theory to be successful. In short, with all the fucking retarded politicians that rule the world today it's impossible.

Now, about communism holding back civilization... I don't quite get it, but why in the hell would you wanna be driving flying cars and living on the moon? I don't see any benefit from those kind of technological advancements besides the coolness factor.

What I've been trying to say all along is that Communism has never been brought in practice. The ideology of communism was lost on people like Stalin who sacrificed true communism in order to turn their countries into world super powers. Communism has never actually been applied anywhere so yeah you do your homework too and find out what Communism really is about.
