And they died because Stalin would literally send troops into war without guns and the only way to survive was to pick up a gun of a dead comrade (sorry for the pun) or a fallen enemy, and often they got shot going for a gun.

just fyi, i wasnt being a smartarse, i just read "australia is pretty big too", and since i live in aus, i felt the need to understand the context of the comment, but it never made any sense. but, on the topic, china and canada are also quite large places and luxembourg is very small.
