had to go with Lunar Strain. if the options were Storm of the Lights Bane instead of Somberlain or Terminial Spirit Disease/SotS instead of Red in the Sky... the choice wouldve been harder. i think i might check out some of these ones i havent heard yet....

How can that be when Candlemass isn't listed?

Otherwise, for me it's between Eucharist, In Flames, and Dark Tranquility. I like them all equally, but I'll give the nod to Eucharist since they were ahead of their time.
