TRIGGER Intro Video and NEWS

Downloaded several times, same each time :\ Tried my Desktop, root folder, documents, etc.

My question would be that with phase alignment, will we get flamming from the transients not being lined up? That's the main concern with sample alignment in the first place.

The other thing, maybe I was doing this wrong, but it seems that in Cubase you have to put Trigger on an FX bus to get the leakage suppression to work right?

Hi Jeff, with Phase Alignment, you won't get flamming because the algorithm looks to line up the "meat" of the transient in perfect phase.. NOT the beginning of the transient or the beginning of the waveform which is what happens with sample alignment.. which does cause phasing flamming issues.

To use leakage suppression in Cubase, use TRIGGER on a GROUP. Then send everything you want suppressed to the right, and the track you want triggered to the left. Or it might be the other way around I forget, check the manual.

We are able to recreate the download issue (it stops at only 5.6mb when it should go to 150mb). We'll have a fix by tomorrow, sorry for the troubles. We have some really good IT guys but its very difficult to manage a three server system that randomly swaps download mirrors. For some reason after about 3,000 simultaneous downloads, the system only is allowing that 5.6mb max size. I wish I knew more about it, but I know like always, we'll get it figured out.

Ok folks, use a download manager and fire away, all should be working fine now. Sorry for the early troubles!

Remember to thoroughly read the manual and learn the functions to best trigger the most naturally. Having said that, default setting work pretty damn good most of the time.

Don't forget to make sure you're feeding trigger with enough input gain.

cool, trying this later, thanks.

is there a rough estimate of when the plug will be for purchase (and on how to get the special for 3.5 owners)?

pretty sure it is 150... I thought it was said earlier, but idk for sure.

I'm having a weird problem.. Trying to d/l the zip, and unzip, then install, but the plugin isn't found on my pc anywhere... It worked first, then I had to restart my pc after I updated some iLok stuff, it flashed to BSOD, then I restarted, and I tried re-downloading the zip 2 more times and it says it installs correctly, but doesn't show up in reaper... and yes I have the correct folder added to reaper.

yep, but WHEN will I be able to buy it?

Demo version limitations:

Additional TCI instruments loading - disabled
Saving settings with project - disabled
Preset saving - disabled

Whee, can't even test it out. :headbang:

Looks like I'll be using Drumtracker for yet another record.

Let us know how you go with that phase accuracy guys.

ok... just been tryin it out.
Initial thoughts are WOW.
this is REALLY good. all the things i hate about drumagog and aptrigga gone.

Brilliant.
Only thing im still not sure about is the ammount of latency reported to the host in P.T L.e it says 485 samples; but after rendering down (busing to another track and recording the two still arent quite lined up) its more like 686 samples or something.
nonetheless.. great job Slate. you shall be receiving my money the second this comes out.

ohh and i can't find the leakage suppression control.
