Why not just chop that audio out in that? I mean, are you sending the plugin the REAL snare? or a copy of the snare? If it's a copy, you can edit out the snares?

Umm, I've got four USB ports free at the moment, can't see the what's the big deal.
To me, one of the greatest things with iLok is that most of my licenses are stored in one handy USB dongle that I can take wherever I want.

Unless you're one of us who bought any of the EX expansion pack deals two weeks ago. If you did and you're buying the Trigger Platinum special than you just got duped. Any money you just spent on the expansion packs was a total waste, you're getting every single one of those samples again with Trigger Platinum.
And still no release date?
And I have to buy an ilok?

not completely disagreeing with you but the way I see it, and this is just for my situation, I bought the no brainer EX thing and that was what? $20-$25? I don't even remember now but if I can get the Trigger platinum discount because of that that means I just got Trigger platinum for $170 instead of whatever the full price would have been which to me, is still a pretty good deal. I'm fully aware of the situation and haven't yet fully decided if I'll buy it ... most likely but I still have a few questions so we'll see

I'll admit that's kinda shit. But then on the other hand in buying the EX packs so I got the WAV files, which won't be included with Trigger.
I just see it as £100 for an awesome drum replacer, pre-loaded with the samples I already have.
I don't know if I missed this on the other trigger thread btw, but is there a way for EX users with all the expansions to get the hybrid stuff that's included in Platinum?

Shouldn't have bought them then. You should be totally stoked that you get Trigger Platinum for 50% off even if you bought EX for $0.50 or whatever that ridiculous deal was. The plugin alone should sell for at least $150 based on competitive products so don't be a bitch. I bought Platinum for $350 and I'm not complaining.
I WOULDN'T HAVE BOUGHT THEM IF HE HAD BEEN F'IN HONEST. I bought EX when it came out for full price. I'm not complaining about that 1 bit. I think you totally missed my point. And YOU WOULD be complaining if you bought Platinum last week. And watch who you call a bitch. That's was uncalled for.
Hi guys, we'll most likely have a trial version of TRIGGER on the site by tomorrow, with the retail version soon after. The VO is actually Slate with a horrible head cold (he's usually pretty good at the VO stuff). Pretty funny I know. They wanted me to do it but I sounded even worse.
Glad you guys dig the features. For metal guys, the one click articulations are going to be key. Imagine being able to just get the super aggressive rimshots in one click? Super useful. And the bleed ignore function is simply awesome. So keep an eye out for the demo.
