i don't know what's gotten into me but suddenly i care about new music for the first time in several years

it's probably the ease of downloading that does it

I'm with you there. There's been a lot of solid releases this year.

I'm in the same boat right now, though I've bought far less music in 2k11 than in any other year since high school or something...

That said I'll probably stop again checking new releases for a few months, and then start again and so on. Been going on for a while.

im here to promote another ukrainian band that I personally appreciate a lot. Their EP is out now. Not sure if you can call it tr00 metal, it sounds pretty modern, but still very good, imo. At least in their genre - they are great.

The new Rome is a true work of art and a mighty return to business, alas I'm afraid Flowers from Exile is all I'll ever need from this band as a "full" album. I do enjoy hearing songs from other albums now and then, but Flowers is the only one I'll sit through religiously.

I love the spoken German interludes on the new one, very moving indeed.
