Is that the album with "Everyday's a Holiday?" I remember that one! Pretty cutting edge for the time!

No. In This Life is their second release and is way more experimental and trippy and heavier and melodic and rocks way more imo with a way better production from what I remember.

Fool's Game is what you're thinking of and is their first. It also has a cool cover of Superfreak on it:
