i'm listening to psycroptic - the isle of disenchantment. They are an australian death metal band. You can dl a couple of songs from mp3.com they are really heavy, have good elements of groove, it's got a lot of tempo changes, but basically the best thing is that the riffs are awesome...like a band like nile is awesome just sometimes thier riffs aren't like i muST break EVERYTHIng in sight NOW riffs you know, they are more focused on speed and crushing you in generaly, psycroptic however has those kind of riffs while still maintainging a good amount of speed (not super fast but above mid temp you know) and i like that....awesome riffs.

Also listening to devolved - technologies (also an australian band) which sounds like yuo wish fear factory sounded like today. A bit fear factory, a bit meshuggah but really notably heavier than either of those bands. Pretty good stuff.
