No, I don't mean "what are your favorite bands?," but rather, what you happen to be spinning the most in the last week or two. I've been listening to Deathspell Omega - Si Monvmentvm Reqvires Circvmspice pretty much every day for the last week. I've also been listening to Darkthrone (ABitNS and TH) like there's no tomorrow. I guess I'm in a black metal mood

Lately I've been listening to more non-metal.

1. London After Mdnight "Psycho Magnet" & "Selected Scenes..."
2. Marilyn Manson - all albums
3. God Module "Let's Go Dark"
4. Cinema Strange "Cinema Strange"
5. Bishop of Hexen "The Nightmarish Compositions"

For me it's been lots of Limbonic Art, Dark Tranquillity and Behemoth, among many other things. I try to mix things up as much as I can so I don't listen to more than 5 songs by the same band each day (unless I'm listening to full albums).

Plus I'm really hooked on Sethery - Kholera, which I've recently acquired and endorsed.

Iron Maiden - A Matter of Life and Death

I got it a few months ago and never really gave it a thorough listen and now I'm putting it on constantly. I'm especially loving 'The Longest Day'.

And when I'm not listening to that, I've got Avantasia on.

Sabbat and just old school death metal which is what I mainly listen too.

also

iron maiden-killers

Katatonia - Last Fair Deal Gone Down, Tonight's Decision
Kamelot - Ghost Opera
Entwine - Fatal Design

I listen mostly to true doom and trad/epic heavy metal these days.

Warning - Watching from a Distance
Holy Martyr - Hail to Hellas
Battleroar - Age of Chaos
Virgin Steele - Marriage+Atreus series
Doomsword - Resound the Horn

Anorexia Nervosa - New Obscurantis Order (Which is awesome btw)
Anaal Nathrakh - Eschaton
A lot of Arcturus
Negura Bunget's Om

A shitload of Lunar Aurora, Sabbat (both), Negura Bunget, and Varathron. And Tudor on vinyl.

USBM mainly (Xasthur, Leviathan, Lurker of Chalice, etc.)

On that note, does anyone know if Mord (the project involving Malefic, not the Norwegian band with the same name) is worth seeking out?

Xasthur is pretty damned good.
