Pain of Salvation with their Remedy Lane (it was supposed to be 2-cd but the label didn't agree on that one .
You can never have enough PoS )

and Joe Satriani....the wizard on guitar

Just a note: I find the new Blind Guardian to be
over rated. Personally, it was a disappointment.

The Blind Guardian album had to make a few spins in my cd-player, but I can say that this is a good album...
Not as good as Nightfall in Middle-Earth though...

The new Blind Guardian is, in my opinion, not as good as their two previous albums, but it's still one of the best releases this year so far.

You know what? Besides Archtype's Dawning I have to name Arch Enemy's "Wages Of Sin" I can't choose between the two although I play "Wages Of Sin" more.

My fav album of the year so far is:

NIGHTWISH - Century Child

but I'm waiting for new Symphony X and new Power of Omens, I'm sure it will be between my top 3 of the year.
