What Musical "Idea" Is Your Favorite?

Other than that, I cringe at groove.

I don't know, it's an element of Metal that I really just don't like for the most part.
All the Death Metal bands that eventually added groove are bands I preferred before they did so, I don't like the Groove Metal genre, I tend to not like the bands that added groove to their Thrash mixture, I don't like Pantera.

Would you consider Bolt Thrower to not have groove then?

Good point, I think they do have some groove, another exception I guess.

Though my favourite albums are their first 3 albums which might say something, but they're all godly so...
