Are you serious? It's beyond me how this album can be considered Thrash Metal.

Considering how long your list is, I'm surprised none of the following bands popped up:
Anacrusis, Coroner, Détente, Flotsam & Jetsam, Fordbidden, Hexenhaus, Mekong Delta, Nuclear Assault, Sacrilege (the one from the UK), Toxik, Voivod, Watchtower, Znowhite

Don't you like any of them or is it that you simply haven't heard any of their albums yet?

there is some thrash on metallica, it's just in the songs everyone forgets because they suck balls ('holier than thou', 'the struggle within'). the exception is 'through the never' which is a solid thrashy tune IMO.

Goodman's lists are suss. He included Sabotage, Never Say Die and Technical Ecstasy in his 70's metal list but nothing else by Black Sabbath.

Good to see some great and not so popular bands like Grinder, Mortal sin and Defiance mentioned here.

Anacrusis, Coroner, Détente, Flotsam & Jetsam, Fordbidden, Hexenhaus, Mekong Delta, Nuclear Assault, Sacrilege (the one from the UK), Toxik, Voivod, Watchtower, Znowhite
1. I have never heard Anacrusis, Hexenhaus, Watchtower, Znowhite
2. Mekong Delta, Voivod are more prog-metal. They're not clear thrash.
3. Coroner, Détente, Flotsam & Jetsam, Fordbidden, Nuclear Assault are good bands but they don't have perfect albums.
4. Sacrilege is boredom.

Compared to Metallica-1991, this album:

is pop-rock.
Maybe in a parallel universe. BTW, why did you include an album you consider "pop-rock thrash" your "clear thrash" list?

2. Mekong Delta, Voivod are more prog-metal. They're not clear thrash.
I don't know which of their albums you are familiar with, but nearly any of them is clearly more thrash than Metallica's black album (which I'm really happy I didn't buy).
3. Coroner, Détente, Flotsam & Jetsam, Fordbidden, Nuclear Assault are good bands but they don't have perfect albums.
Do you really consider all 71 albums you listed perfect? I know, musical tastes are different, but apart from the fact that I can't think of any album I'd consider absolutely perfect in each and every regard (this goes even for my overall favourite albums), I'd say that's at least a very controversial opinion.
4. Sacrilege is boredom.
Considering how different their three albums sound (I wouldn't consider the last one thrash metal, though if we can have "pop rock thrash", we could perhaps also have "doom thrash" or something along these lines), I find this opinion a bit surprising, but as I said, musical tastes are different.

The only Mekong Delta album I can get into is Dances of Death, but it's damn cool. I was specifically looking to see if I liked any technical/proggy early 90s thrash and it was a winner for me.

For me both of these albums are thrash metal. But the sound of Megadeth-1990 is noticebly lighter than Metallica-1991.And so far no one has found fault with "rust in peace", which some put in first place.

Anthrax's first album fistful of metal is good, i also like spreading the disease, but i listened to the first track of "among the living" and thought it was kinda just a worse version old metallica...anthrax is neat just in the sense that they tend to blend genres.

uhm, could you maybe mention albums instead of being sarcastic??
