hehehehe well I really hope (though I doubt it) you saw the full charge of irony on my post ;)
the "temporarily" thing and the thing of "never should be taken from Salmy" is mostly for the big fuss about not getting the avatars up until he returned, as if he would get mad or something, nothing else...so please, if you got it wrong, my apologies...it was totally the other way round ;)

heeey. i see that Skald has posted. i believe he offered some assistance with the members' stuff at one point. i don't remember if it was just avatars or pics or both though.

he's been here quite a long time, too.

Useless statistics on the page:

Search words used: DT forum members

Lycos: no results within the first 100 pages. conclusion Lycos sucks ass.

Google: 2 first pages are liquid2k.net/dtportal/main.html and
liquid2k.net/dtfavs/. Conclusion Google rocks big time.

Yahoo: first link liquid2k.net/dtportal/main.html, no other links in the first 20 hits. Conclusion Yahoo knows what they are doing, but not quite as well as Google ;)

Altavista: No results found within the first 100 pages. conclusion Altavista sucks just as badly as Lycos, but is longer to write ;)

MSN: No results in 100 pages. Conclusion this just proves that MSN sucks, but being M$ owned doesn't make it any better.

Ask Jeeves: No results even anywhere near. conclusion: You may find my search results totally pointless.

Well, thats it Google is the winner, not a surprise I'm sure, but Yahoo did real well, I am quite surprised by that.

I will get to work on the pages soon I promise ;)
 
Well now, I been a busy boy and I am happy to announce:

DT Forum Members Page - The Return!

This is an older copy of the page, so some of the pictures maybe a bit
old, you may mail me new ones and I will update them:
You know what to do.
(just remove the NOSPAM from the address before emailing)

A few ground rules:
1. Only one image per member, for now, this may change.
2. When emailing, remember to write your EXACT member name.
3. Email subject should be PICTURE: <MEMBERNAME>.
4. Maximum image size is 600x600 pixels, if it's bigger I will resize it to
fit that size.

@Salam: - Excellent to see the page is up and running once again, but being on Angelfire, the popups are slightly annoying. If you want, I have 30mb of webspace I don't use that's part of my broadband account, if you wanted to send it all over, I could upload it onto this space which is pop-up free (at least was at the last time I checked) with only a 'sponsored by freeserve' frame at the top of the screen, which I think is much less intrusive. I can also help maintain it in my spare time (being a university student, I have a LOT of spare time ;)). Just let me know if you want it :)
