I got in the mail last week:
oomph! - Die Schlinge (5-Track Maxi)
The bonussongs are two covers from the so called "Neue Deutsche Welle", from the 1980s. One is "Polizisten" of Extrabreit, it´s insane how such an old song about the Police is currently so up to date. It´s a nice way to remind unpolitical listeners of how much the Police extended its influence, almost a Secret Service agency which collects kazillions of information-pieces.
The second song is called "Zauberstab"

, with a very squeaky dry electro-beat and some of the lyrics which supposedly have influenced oomph!´s own texts. Perfect club-song
Poisonblack - Lust Stained Despair
Ville Laihiala singing this time, I was curious on how it would be, and actually it works very well. The songs are more rock/metal than the goth of the first album, grand sound, and even though of course it´s tempting to say: that just sounds like new Sentenced-material, it really isn´t. Ville found new colours in his voice, the lyrics are different from Sentenced, too, and the music is maybe 50% old Poisonblack-style, 40% Sentenced-style and 10% new influences. Sometimes I even get the idea that JP couldn´t have sung these new songs - of course, technically, he can do almost anything, but they partly wouldn´t suit to the mood in his voice.
I like it

(but there wasn´t anything else to expect, though... )
