Dang, you guys are so lucky to be going. It's going to be to be a blast. I was just looking at the setup and I am really jealous. I wish school wasn't taking over my life right now. Stupid Gym credit I have to make up. I would love to see Incantation, Obituary, Autopsy, Pentagram, and Portal. And of course the rest. Even though I am unfamiliar with some. I'd do just about anything to go, maybe even drop out of school.

Yeah, I really don't care if you put 1 more person in our room to even things out. The money doesn't really matter to me but whataver.

I'm more interested if those that are coming into town Thursday will be also going to the Pre-fest. I know that Addo and one of my friends are already planning on going. If everyone else decides to go, I will probably go as well. I really don't want to sit in the hotel by myself.

Personally I'd rather do some sightseeing (aquarium anyone?) and get a nice dinner on Thursday since neither of those seem feasible once the Fest has begun. Going to the Pre-Fest seems completely pointless because three days of concert-going is exhausting enough as it is, and you will most likely be skipping 1/3 to 1/2 of the bands at the main Fest anyway.

I'm pretty sure I'm the only one in the group of people I'm going with that's expressed interest in the pre-fest (another friend bought a ticket in case it sells out but said he isn't even sure if he wants to go). The only reason I'm going is to catch General Surgery, PLF, and some mediocre band that (apparently) sounds like Slayer.

Sightseeing and a nice meal are ideal for Thursday but I'm a picky, uncultured fuck when it comes to cuisine and I don't really care about seeing anything within the city because it's never been my sort of thing.

My thoughts exactly. There isn't a band I really want to see at the Pre-fest anyways. I'd be down to going to a decent meal. I know Cythraul and I are big fish and seafood fans. Baltimore is famous for their crab.

If you like Pretty Little Flower and General Surgery, you should enjoy seeing Birdflesh, XBrainiaX, Iron Lung. Engorged is good too but they had to cancel. Ex Dementia is decent DM but I prefer the other bands. Nekrowhateverocon is alright thrash. But yeah, the prefest is going to be great, I'm surprised more people aren't excited for it.

I actually only like Necrology era General Surgery, which from what I understand was an entirely different band, and I've never even listened to Pretty Little Flower but simply heard decent things. I really can't stand a lot of this basement show partygrindpowerviolencewhateverthefuckcore that makes up a lot of the inside stage lineup, but a few bands on the pre-fest seem to be an exception to that. If anything I might also meet a couple of internet people and just hang out with them during the show.
