I don't like pop/dance singers who dress like whores and sing lovesongs. Other than that I like quite a few male-fronted pop/rock bands, like The Rasmus, Uniklubi, Negative, HIM because I don't really call them metal and well other stuff like that... They have to be Finnish though.

that actually is probably true in that pop music is just what is 'popular' and if many popular bands such as the beatles and things wouldn't have influenced music in the way they did with rock and such music wouldn't be the same. Another thing is that metal was formed on the basis of being different and rebelling from what is mainstream which is pop music.
