Winter NAMM 09! (new gear porn)

Marshall and Ampeg clones?

Interesting...I've spoken with a guy who makes amps and he said Ampeg's stuff is pretty different from most other amps and basically if you want someone to make a clone the parts alone would cost almost as much as a real Ampeg.

so, that 1990 is an 800 or 900 clone?

Check the Hi Gain Dual Reverb text on the front panel ;) It's a JCM900 Model 4500 clone - the worst sounding JCM900 model.

And Behringer *REALLY* needs to price it aggressively, because you can get the real thing for around 400 - 600 euros used. And the used model will still outlast the Bugera one

Edit:
Hell, you can get the best sounding JCM900 (the SL-X / Model 2500) for 550 euros:

Well, if that 1960 is based on a Plexi, i dont think that you will get one for the same price as one that is used. ;)

that 6505 was a NAMM one off custom job. It's not a production model...At least that's what I've read by a couple NAMM attendees.

I really hope so.. You wont believe how hard Im working on finding out what the score is with this!!!!

I may work for them but if your not at NAMM you still find out when everyone else does.

I will be mentioning the slagging this design is getting on here and Im going to be sticking with my 5150!!!:puke:

Just to chime in my Bugera 333 is still workin' like a champ...

The 1960 looks interesting, a JTM45 clone? Hellz yea. And an Ampeg clone, this shit is awesome!

I'm ashamed because I almost want to get them.
