the dimmu one would probably make a real "worst list" but there's about a hundred thousand more ridiculous shots out there.

Ender listed Kiss, earlier. I'll give them credit for taking the whole glam image so far over the top that nobody could follow them without looking like they were borrowing from them (i.e. King Diamond, Black Metal bands).
